Master BPMP Survey Results

Blackblot conducts an ongoing survey which represents the opinions and feedback of Master Blackblot Product Management Professional™ (Master BPMP) certified individuals regarding the impact that their certification achievement has had on them.

On the downside, the current responses to the survey demonstrate that having a Master BPMP credential has had little impact on getting job interviews or promotions since most employers presently place little value on a Master BPMP credential for the purpose of job hiring or workplace promotion decision. Also, the majority of Master BPMP certified individuals doubt that a Master BPMP credential will improve their employability or earning potential.

On the upside, the majority of Master BPMP certified individuals affirm that a Master BPMP credential is a positive career differentiator. In addition, the overwhelming majority of Master BPMP certified individuals profess that a Master BPMP credential has asserted their position as a trusted authority in product management and validated their skills and commitment to the product management profession.

Evidently it seems that obtaining a Master BPMP advanced certification credential nowadays will not yield in major career opportunities or changes. Conversely, being Master BPMP certified is a notable achievement that undeniably manifests in positive peer recognition and personal professional esteem.
